Newly renovated modern apartment (via pavia), helpful staff that sorted out some issues with elevator working intermittently and door key.
Great location- restaurants, cafes and bars all within short walking distance. Also Milano centre can be walked with many shops along the way for those who need some shopping therapy!
Even though newly renovated, it lacked bench space to prepare small meals and for clean up. Also being an apartment, there was no washing machine for clothes. Parking was inconvenient as car park next door was closed for repairs- if known about it early other arrangements could have been made.

Excellent location. Good communication with the host.
Our apartment was fairly damaged/run down, with numerous marks and scrapes on the walls all over the apartment, and its layout was not as good as some other apartments in the complex by the same host. Our apartment had no separate bedroom (with just a small, half-wall between the bedroom and the living room). We saw another apartment in the complex by the same host and it was in a much better condition and with a proper, separate bedroom. These apartments are treated and priced the same, but they were clearly different, in more ways than one.
