The team looked after me really well and ensured that I could leave early in the morning having had breakfast. The room itself was of a good size, comfortable and quiet. The evening was tasty and good value.

As a mountain walker, I always have a few days in September in Ballater. I've never stayed in the
Alexandra hotel before mainly because I couldn't get a booking. I will be back next year. The room
was spotless with a comfy bed (for me) and a great shower(essential after day on the mountains). Next, good food, whether breakfast or evening meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. This was exactly what I was looking for.
