Large bedroom, comfortable bed. Good food available in the pub.
Only one hanger in the room.
Some noise from below, possibly a generator ?

Only five rooms at the pub with easy access and parking. Bed was comfortable which is a big selling point with us mature travellers as was a walk in shower. Pub has recently been refurbished and bar and dining area are very nicely decorated.
Room was a bit small with our 2 large suitcases.

Breakfast was good. Disappointed that, despite the website offering a takeaway breakfast for those checking out early this was not in fact an option.
The meals were good, however, the cook was off on our last evening there. The meals provided were actually shocking that night. I felt sorry for the staff but in hindsight should have complained there and then. I think the manager should have simply cancelled reservations so that people could have gone elsewhere.

We stayed in the middle of the late June heat wave 37 C and the menu was restricted to allow kitchen staff some necessary relief, so evening menus were limited.
Breakfast was limited to a number of set combinations, not self selection at a breakfast bar.
No aircon but good fans were provided.
