Host was fantastic - gave us all sorts of great tips for Venice and made sure the apartment was extremely comfortable. Her homemade pastries were delicious.

Location is very good. There are two bedrooms and a sitting room, dinning room, kitchen and bathroom, These are very clean and spacious. If the bath towels a bit fluffier, it will be perfect.

Alissa made us fresh baked items to snack on, had a stocked fridge with juice, eggs, milk, coffee and breakfast items. She is the most friendly host and took great care to make our stay special. Her place is our favorite stay in all of Italy. She gave us recommendations on restaurants, sights to see, and over all was the best host I have ever encountered. It was more than a host, she made us feel like we were friends. The location is away from the crowds but easily walkable to the crowds if you want to walk five minutes.

Everything was perfect, we highly recommend Ca' Alessandro for a family city-break in this charming and quiet apartment!. Elisa, the owner of the apartment was waiting for us and we really appreciated her personal and warm welcome, with home made cakes, such a delicate attention on this Easter week-end! Elisa showed all facilities and shared with us her best addresses in Venezia (great places to eat, and drink typical places to visit and much more).. She stayed available all along our stay to answer our questions. Good to know: Ca' Alessandro is located in Cannaregio, only 5mn walk from the Madonna dell' Orto boat stop (best way to come from the airport). You are only 15mn walk to the San Marco Place. There are several nice restaurants close to the apartment.

Elisa is the most amazing host. As first time travellers to Venice, she took the time to recommend great places to visit and how to get there. She stocked the kitchen for us with everything we could possibly need as well as home-baked goods which were delicious. The apartment was immaculate, spacious and so comfortable and it was the best accommodation we could have hoped for.

I liked everything about C'Allesandro. Elisa was wonderful and accommodating on every level. She made sure the apartment was stocked with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. She was a wealth of knowledge about the surroundings and was always available to answer questions. The property was centrally located and we were able to navigate around the city in a reasonable amount of time. I would always stay at C'Allesandro if I returned to Venice.

Venice itself is not for the faint of heart. Navigating by water taxi was a challenge at first, but I got used to it. The property was located in a perfect location, close to transportation.

Our stay at Ca’ Alessandro was AMAZING! Our host, Elisa, was tremendous! She supplied us with home baked goodies, lovely breakfast options, stayed connected with us to see if we needed anything or to answer our questions, provided a wealth of information about Venice….and so much more! The property worked perfectly for our group of 4. It’s location was great to access all that Venezia has to offer. It has every amenity you could need and was extremely clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Overall, and mostly due to our lovely host, our stay at Ca’ Alessandro was spectacular!

This second floor apartment is about a 15 minute walk from St. Lucia train station, located in a quiet less touristy area of Venice. Elisa, the owner is an exceptional host who responded quickly to our inquiries, welcomed us warmly at the local bridge, helping with our bags and giving us highlights of the Cannaregio district including the local restaurants and bars as we walked to the apartment. She gave us a detailed tour of the apartment that includes large dining and living rooms with lots of natural light, a well-equipped kitchen, a modern bathroom and large, comfortable, well-lit bedrooms that overlook the city and courtyard garden with shutters to keep out the early morning light. Everything was spotlessly clean. No elevator, but about 30 steps from ground level to the apartment which some seniors could find a bit challenging. Elisa explained her hand-written book of commentary and photos of recommended local sites to visit. The apartment has everything required for breakfast and sweet snacks including three juices, cereals, milk, coffee, yogurt, eggs, crackers, butter and jams. She even made delicious cakes for us which were much appreciated. Good internet and quiet location both day and night. Elisa followed up with us during our 5 day stay to see how things were going. Everything was perfect. Ca’ D’Oro ACTV stop is only a 7 minute walk. Rialto and St. Marks are 15 to 20 minutes walking distance. A supermarket is also nearby. Elisa kindly arranged a water taxi to the airport for our early morning flight home. To say that Elisa has the business of her apartment well organized and operated would be an understatement. Her attention to detail to make her apartment our comfortable home away from home during our stay in Venice coupled with her outstanding personality were remarkable. We highly recommend Elisa and her exceptional apartment. We wish we could have rated them 10+.

Everything was perfect!

Everything was perfect. Elisa is a lovely super host. The apartment offers everything for daily needs and was lovely decorated. Elisa prepared a citymap and a selfmade book with lots of tips and hidden spots for Venice, that was just awesome! We will definitely come back!

Wonderful apartment off the beaten path, and in a locally trendy part of town. Our host, Elisa, was absolutely amazing! She met us near the train station, gave us a complete tour of the apartment, places to eat, and things to do. She made reservations for us at Hosteria Al Vecio Bragosso one night (excellent food), and helped with logistics to get my mother on the boat to the airport. She was always available on Whatsapp, and is running a great business. I highly recommend Ca'Alessandro.

I didn't like leaving.....

close to major attractions at the same time quite. Many eateries are also favors of locals. Elisa is a great host. She gave us an introductory over view of the area and highlights, helped us with reservations, and checking daily to ensure we’re enjoying. The apartment is well equipped and stocked with food for breakfast. There were 3 home made cakes waiting for us, what else can you ask for. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Elisa was amazing! She met us at the train station and escorted us to her property, helped us with our bags. She had made us cakes stocked the refrigerator with juices, milk, eggs and more, had cookies and breakfast things. The apartment was so clean and comfortable and quiet yet close to everything. She helped arrange a taxi for us gave us great information about where to eat and things to do. In all my years of travel and staying in a variety of places, Elisa’s was by far the very best! If I could give her more than 10 stars I would. Thank you again Elisa for everything!!!

everything about the property was great. Elisa was amazing and the apartment was very well stocked with supplies. We had fresh pastries, juice, yogurt, eggs, milk and anything else you could possibly want for breakfast supplied to us. There is a luggage storage facility very close which made our day exploring Venice very easy.

I have nothing negative to say about this property or the hostess. The only thing I will mention is that there is no lift so be prepared to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs.

As in the description, the apartment is in the attic which is reached by steep stairs. For anyone with mobility issues this apartment wouldn’t be suitable

The flat was perfect in every aspect and the own treated us as friends making our stay unforgettable. The flat has everything you need and it's in a fantastic spot with bars and restaurants, these is also a massive book handwritten by the owner with a lot of suggestions so won't miss the unmißable. Excellent host, who was very eager to help and ensure the best stay. The most amazing cake and fruit tart on arrival although we didn’t have time to try everything.

It wasn’t a problem for us but worth mentioning that there are stairs for anyone with heavy bags.

Elisa has done an amazing job of setting up a home away from home no matter the length of your stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated, has all the necessities in the kitchen as well as juice, eggs and delicious homemade cakes. The beds are super comfortable with a large bathroom. Elisa is a text away and always willing to help with any queries. Honestly this has become our #1 place of all the places we have visited. Excellent restaurants and wine bars are nearby are the added bonus.

This is the ONLY thing that may be a deterrent for someone with mobility issues. There is no elevator as it is an old historical building and the apartment is on the second floor.
