Das Hotel hat sehr schöne, neu renovierte, saubere Zimmer. Auch das Cave Themenzimmer war sehr nett eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es gibt vom Hotel einen kostenlosen Shuttle an den Flughafen.

Die Zimmer waren bei Ankunft sehr kalt - 10°C Raumtemperatur im Januar ist einfach viel zu wenig! Die Heizung lief die ganze Nacht, trotzdem war der Raum am nächsten Morgen erst bei einer Raumtemperatur von 18°C. Das Hotel war schwer zu finden, da es sich direkt in/bei einer Mall befindet, daher war es nachts auch sehr laut, Es gibt rund um das Hotel etliche chinesische Restaurants, bitte daran denken, dass in China nicht mit Mastercard bezahlt werden kann. Das Hotel Restaurant ist nur für das typisch chinesische Frühstück, Abendessen gibt es dort nicht.

Because if flight delays, we arrived in Shanghai at almost 2am. Moonlo hotel was extremely accommodating. They gave us a great first impression of Shanghai. Their breakfast buffet was delicious, the rooms were spacious, clean, and just beautiful. Great for taking photos! Thanks to our shuttle driver Mr. Li for sending us to the train station in the morning. It would’ve been such a hassle and he saved us a lot of time. He gave us directions and even pointed out things to look out for, not to mention they have free shuttle to Disney as well. We felt such a warm welcome as if we went home to family. 10/10 recommended. We’d definitely come back to visit next time we’re in Shanghai. Thanks Moonlo!

Fantastic hotel located in a very local district, abt 15 mins by car fr Pudong airport. Perfect for stopover before/after flight, visit Disneyland or Florentia Village outlets for shopping. Staff is amazing, good spread of breakfast with made-to-order noodles & dumpling station. Variety of restaurants within 2-3 mins (including a Starbucks), and local Chinese supermarket just 2 mins walk besides the hotel. Highly recommended, will certainly stay here again for my next visit.

I was looking for a place to stay near PVG airport and found this place on Booking. There is free shuttle service to and from PVG which I find extremely useful. It has always been a pain for me to find a decent place to in Shanghai landing and flying from PVG within 24 hrs, but this place seems the perfect solution. Met the owner at breakfast who is absolutely lovely. Food was freshly prepared and delicious. All staff members including the shuttle driver are so friendly and genuine, I felt safe and in good hands while staying with them. The hotel itself is also brilliant, the high ceiling design is such a rare find in Shanghai imo.

The air-con in my room was slightly loud but it was fine once I fall asleep.

Very cold inside the room, it took 10 hs to rise the temperature from +15 to +20. Weak hot water pressure, no bathrobes. The first room I was given had to be changed because it was smoky, although it was called a non-smoking room. The hotel does not have a restaurant for dinner, restaurants nearby do not accept cards

Huge and beautiful room with high ceilings and a nice patio outside. Nicest place I've stayed in China. Staff was amazing, provided free airport pickup and drop off in addition to driving me to Disneyland and picking me up at the end of the day, also for free. If you want to be near the airport or Disneyland this is a great choice.

It's a hike to get to public transportation to get into the city center, you're better off taking a taxi. Staff has limited English but is quick to use translation apps, and you can easily use WeChat with them as well.

It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful facilities and staff. The reception lady Ling Ling was very nice and offered us late check out due to our flight times. Rooms were large and gorgeous. Breakfast was included with the owner Ms Yang personally taking care of guests. Outstanding service with a smile. Lots of food and convenience stores around plus Starbucks and Burger King. Free airport transfers. We as a family wouldn’t hesitate to stay here next time in Shanghai.

Their service was great! The staff are welcoming and friendly. The room deco has a unique cozy vibe . Me and my pup enjoyed the little private rooftop garden. The cherry on top is the breakfast. The free breakfast had lots of varieties and they are all super tasty!

We were only in the hotel for one night and chose it because it’s near Shanghai Airport. The location, the property and the staff were all exceptional. The welcome was warm, the rooms light, airy, clean and very well appointed. There’s a “quirky” (good) feel about the hotel with a lot of books and knick-knacks all around it. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it to anyone looking for a hotel for any purpose in Shanghai. Reception will organise a cab for you to go into the the main shopping/restaurant/visitor centre of Shanghai. The fare is about 130 Yuen. There is a free airport shuttle bus.

We couldn’t sleep all night long because there was noise of people running, screaming down the hall and doors shutting very loudly with alarms ringing. Very uncivilized behaviour of guests close to our room. It would have been nice to have had staff intervention.

I booked a room to rest for the night during a layover, but when I arrived at the hotel I realized that I forgot my passport at the airport. Xiaoye, the guy at the reception, totally saved the situation: he called the airport lost&found office (they only speak Chinese), took me back to the airport with his own personal car, escorted me to the office, talked with the officers and took me back to the hotel. I can’t thank him enough.

I am not a big fan of a rustic style. The hotel was good enough to stay overnight in a proximity of the airport but I would not spend vacation there. Close to a supermarket and restaurants including Burger King. Shuttle service to the airport very convenient.

Raw cement surfaces in the bathrooms may have looked fancy while new but they do not age well. Rustic style is not for me either. Overpriced.

We noticed all the staff had a genuine desire to help make our stay great. It never felt like they were only helping because it was requirement of their job. Amazing breakfasts, with mix of Chinese and Western food. Free minibar in the room. Comfy beds, very clean. There is an assortment of shops (mini-marts, restaurants, western fast-food) within a 2-minute walk that should meet the needs of most travelers. Perfect for couples or families who want a nice place to stay near Shanghai Pudong Airport, or Disneyland. A stark-contrast to the impersonal and slow service we received from the large (expensive) international hotel-chain we stayed out after checking-out of Moonlo. This made us realize just how good Moonlo was... As such, we booked Moonlo again to be close to Pudong Airport the night before we flew out of China. Will definitely book again.

Xiaoye was the most amazing host. He was so welcoming and took very good care of us. We were late arriving to hotel so he organised a beautiful takeaway dinner & drinks for us. Thank you Xiaoye, you made our stay so great! We will be back

Not as good as first time - different staff and the excellent Yunnan restaurant outside has closed down.

No restaurant No room service No executive lounge No spa No swimming pool No garden view - Under renovation Reception staff shouted at me when I questioned why there was no room service. Mandatory after a long flight is that I can eat at my hotel, preferably in my room. Hotel is totally mid-sold and the ‘concrete finish’ leaves a lot to be desired. I paid for 2 nights and checked out within 10 minutes. Hotel have totally refused to engage with booking.com and have an appalling attitude. It’s worth around £60 per night not more. I paid £230 for zero nights stay and a whole host of hassle. If you’re a solo traveller then don’t bother as there are none of the faculties described…. Even the ‘gym’ is in the hotel corridor - laughable.

Very clean and modern, amazing room interior design. the staff were very friendly and the receptionist that I talked to could speak very good English!

I didn’t know that the shuttle service had to be prebooked in order to get from the airport to the hotel.

We have selected the hotel because of the proximity to the airport and it was a wonderful surprise in all regards. The reception is decorated like a tea house and they also sell tea which we have bought - an excellent wulong from Wuyi mountains. There was a gong fu tea set in a room, loose leaf tea and wonderful snacks. For those who are not into gong fu cha there are mugs in the room. The room was spacious with very comfortable beds and tasteful design. Design in the hotel is actually very well executed in all the hotel. Very good breakfast. The staff is lovely and helpful.
