A beautiful old historical building full of charm and character. Gorgeous 14th Century old malt house in the heart of Tintagel. Comfortable quiet and clean room, delicious food, very relaxing atmosphere, great service lovely friendly staff welcoming and hospitable made you feel like part of the family and extremely dog friendly treated our little dog Ruby with big open arms and hearts. Couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Nothing really I suppose a slightly nicer view from our back bedroom window would have topped it off but it didn’t really matter

This is my 3rd stay at the olde malthouse . I f you love olde world, historic places with a splash of luxury, you will love this location. The food and staff are also first class.

There’s not a single thing i dislike about this property .

Evening food & service ,location for Castle

Breakfast, choose night before ,small shower room ,sink next to bed ,road noise ,no blind for privacy, tatty thread bear towels night door out of use ,uncomfortable restaurant seats ,filthy bar toilets, customer service poor in the morning s not good value for money ,parking can be restricted
