We are middle size people and a family of 3, a son 4y.o. We stayed in this place for 6 days that accomodate us perfectly. It is not brand new or flawless but well maintained. This place is in one of the center proper, litterally, Bus, Uber or Train are all there just outside the building. The comfort is exceptional, the size is enough to cater our active child. Elevator was small but it never bother us. We ended up staying/sleeping only in living room, we used the sofa bed. We used Netflix that added to the place to feel like home. The terrace was amazing to unwind, fresh air and for drying our clothes, drying rack was also available. Washingmachine was perfect. The room feels extra space was only used for dressing up, the storage are everywhere, we each got our own cabinets. Loundry Basket was for me a plus, had used it everyday. The kitchenet was perfect for quick breakfast and midnight snack/dinner, its compack and complete dishwasher, ref and microwave. I had a small make up area near the door but it fits me perfectly, though i must do my hair in the toilet because of the electric socket, but i managed well. Home supplies are available hanger, iron, towels are bigs, iron rack and hair dryer. It feels like we did not leave our home! Pin doors are tricky, but I managed to memorized it anyway.

Location is great - just a 4-minute walk from Saint-Lazare and walking distance to the Opera and Galeries Lafayette. Really the best starting point for exploring on foot or hopping on the train/metro/bus. Highly recommend the location. The apartment was really well equipped, and generously so. The kitchen had everything: coffee machine, toaster, microwave, full drawers of cutlery and knives, and cooking pots - genuinely a perfectly equipped kitchen. Salt, pepper, oil, coffee and tea were also provided free of charge, which is great and pretty rare. The bathroom was small but nice, and the shower was amazing - great water pressure, always warm, with free soap, shower gel and hair conditioner provided.

Access is a nightmare. Getting to the apartment and collecting the key means going through 3 different locked doors (each with its own code) plus 2 elevators, and the locks themselves are hard to work. Even popping out for a baguette means dealing with 5 door codes. Definitely not workable with a stroller or for anyone with mobility issues - the building also has lots of stairs and narrow hallways. Very noisy. You hear everything - outside traffic, every metro/train passing near Saint-Lazare (the whole building shakes), plus indoor noise from neighbors and doors. There was also construction in the apartment below, running 9am to late afternoon, so no chance for our baby to nap. We understand renovations happen, but the host should have warned us in advance. Too small for more than 2 people. We were 3 adults plus a baby and it was very cramped. Only suitable for a couple sharing the bed - the sofa is in bad shape (worn out, uncomfortable) and unusable as a second sleeping spot. There is a washing machine, which is great, but no drying rack or hangers to actually dry the clothes - so it's basically useless. Cleaning: the basics looked clean, but the details were not. The dishwasher was filthy, completely coated in limescale, and didn't even work. Another unacceptable point is the very high deposit required in case of damage. It's not normal to ask for that kind of amount before even seeing the apartment, with no idea what condition you'll actually find it in.
