24 Kimberley

We had the best stay at 24 Kimberley, we're so glad we found this place when visiting Georgetown; the guesthouse, the host, the location, the room - everything was perfect! The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, and great AC (also a fan available). The shared bathroom facilities were spotlessly clean and close to the rooms. The downstairs area was nice to spend time in, especially chatting with the host. The location is right in the heart of Georgetown, everything is walkable and nearby buses are available to Chew Jetty and Penang Hill. Lots of great restaurants and cafes around with different cuisines; coin laundry is also available nearby. The host is absolutely wonderful and gave us so much useful information and advice about where to go and what to see. Communication for getting to and from the guesthouse was excellent over WhatsApp (we arrived a little later at 8pm due to poor weather). She also introduced us to Milo coffee, which we will have daily on the rest of our trip through Malaysia! We ended up extending our stay here as we were so welcome and comfortable, a huge, huge thank you to 24 Kimberley for such a memorable stay!

I had a wonderful stay here. The place was comfortable, clean and well maintained. Most importantly, the host was incredibly kind, friendly and welcoming. The host treated me with so much warmth and care, making feel like i was not staying at a homestay, but simply coming back to our own hometown.
