We enjoyed staying in this spacious apartment. Nice art work on the walls and vintage furniture. Beautiful kitchen. The layout is a little odd. The two bathrooms are side by side, on the same level as the kitchen and entry way. Down 3 stairs are three rooms. Two face the Grand Canal: a very large bedroom and the salone (living room) with a single bed that could be made up if necessary. The second bedroom is smaller and has one window that looks out on a dark alley. The wifi is a little quirky; it gives a strong signal but did not work correctly with our iPhones (blocked internet connections). But the phones worked fine with 5G cellular, so this wasn't a big problem. The proximity to shops and the San Silvestro vaporetto stop is a big plus.

Beautiful

The beauty of Venice is just outside of the windows of this lovely apartment. The vaporetto is just around the corner and we quickly got to any location we chose (including the train and bus stations). Ernst went out of his way to make sure we found the apartment and suggested restaurants. We would definitely stay hear again.

Lots of space and amazing views of the Grand canal. The location was central and walkable to everything. We recommend our friends to stay here to have a great experience in Venice.

Incredible location and very convenient for our family of 5 (including 3 teenage boys). We enjoyed the sights and sounds of the Grand Canal and discovering cafes around our “neighborhood.” My 3 teenage boys absolutely loved their first experience of Venice. We did not spend much time in the apartment but when we did we felt like real Venetians, enjoying the views from nicely appointed rooms with fresco ceilings, and I enjoyed watching my boys play chess (we brought out chessboard from home) by windows overlooking gondoliers. Incredible communication from the hosts, and even a lesson in how to use the Bialetti Moka Express (Italian coffee maker). The kitchen has enough dishes for simple meals, (but could use a spatula if you want to cook an omelette or anything more substantial). If we come to Venice again, we would absolutely stay here. Convenient to everything. Highlights for us were the “Secrets of Venice” walking tour, morning latte at Cafe Del Doge, lunch at Antico Calice and dinner at Vecia Cavana.

Location and apartment both wonderful

The house was described accurately in the listing & was perfect for our family of gtandparents, kids, & grandkids. It was clean, cozy & well equipped. Loved the location. The only weakness was internet signal was not very strong.

This apartment is in a great location with wonderful views onto the Grand Canal, and the hosts were wonderful to work with. We ran into a slight issue during the stay, but the hosts quickly resolved it to our satisfaction which was very appreciated!

Nice to have a place to sit and view the Grand Canal. Quiet neighborhood with plenty of shopping and eating nearby.

This was a very central and secure location. Just a few minutes walk to the Rialto bridge and close to so many things (shopping, restaurants, tours, etc). We spent hours looking out the window.

The entry/exiting was confusing at first.

We were met at the nearby vaporetto station by Farid, nice guy who showed us how everything works. Shortly after he left, we discovered there was no TP in the bathrooms, so we sent him a message. We got a message from “Ernst”, the manager, who insisted that the cleaners left 3 rolls. We did find 3 rolls of paper towels, but for the plumbing’s sake I hope they don’t use that in the toilets! Ernst asked us to prove there was no TP by sending him photos of the bathrooms! We were at dinner and I told him his request was an insult and we’ve never used a VRBO that didn’t at least provide enough hygiene products for the first day! Ernst then said it’s “illegal” to provide TP for the property, even though he had already said there were 3 rolls in the apartment! The exchange went downhill quickly and Ernst told us to not contact him again! We found trash left by previous tenants, and black mold in both showers. The furniture was worn and we found the beds uncomfortable. The TVi is small and has only Italian programs, if that matters. The location was good, with views of the Grand Canal, and there are many restaurants nearby, so it isn’t all bad. Just go knowing what to expect and bring your own TP! I think for $350/ night you can find better, but you know what you’re going to get. Good luck!

It was perfect for our family, great location

Beautiful view and spacious unit. We spend an entire afternoon till late at night just hanging out in the room with our music and enjoying the View.

The pictures do not prepare you for how amazing this place is. A truly amazing location in Venice. The management group were amazing to work with. The neighborhood is excellent. Will definitely want to rent here on next trip to Venice!

Très bel appartement bien situé et proche du Rialto à un arrêt du vaporetto San Silvestro qui est à 2 minutes à pieds de l'appartement. Seul hic lors de notre séjour, la régulation du chauffage le soir qui s'arrêtait... Un peu frais pour un mois de février ! Mais problème réglé grâce à Cristiano. Merci ! Une adresse à retenir.

Superb location. The apartment offers breathtaking views from the 6 large windows, and is only steps away from Vaporetto #1. The entrance is located in a quite alley (deadends at the Grand Canal) just off of a quiet courtyard. We felt like locals walking along the hidden streets returning to our beautifil apartment each day. The apartment is very spacious. The floor plan is a bit funky (3rd bedroom is really a common space like a livingroom), but the 4 of us absolutely loved the space. We felt guilty not spending more time in the apartment just watching the activities on the Grand Canal. Several mornings I got up at 6:30 just to watch all the delivery boats zigzaging down the Canal bringing goods to businesses. The spacious master bedroom with sitting area is bright and delightful. The 2nd bedroom is darker as its window faces another building. Both bathrooms are modern. There's ample storage space (closets and shelves). Kitchen is not big but more than adequate. We didn't use the kitchen much bc there are so many fab restaurants in Venice. Rialto Bridge and market are a short walk away (5-7 min), we bought fresh fruits from the market almost daily. I would not hesitate to stay at this place again when I return to Venice. p.s. there is no elevator, but one flight of stairs is manageable.

This apartment was perfect for our group. One bedroom is technically the living area. There is a twin bed and 3 couches in this room. There’s another couch in the front bedroom. Plenty of room to spread out. Having 2 bathrooms and a washer was great. Opening the windows and looking out on the canal was amazing. There’s vaporetto stop nearby which made traveling easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Cotés positifs : l"emplacement , la vue , les magnifiques plafonds, la proximité du vaporetto et d'un commerce pour l'alimentation, le double vitrage , les 2 salles de bain rénovées.

Location, view and size are excellent; the view in particular is a dream. Most of the furniture is fine style, as is ceiling decoration. Contrary to the online description, the flat has only two rooms, so beyond four people they have to sleep in the living-cum-dining room. The only other significant drawback is the very noisy A/C - given the Canal Grande's noise, one can hardly sleep with windows open.

Die tolle Lage reisst es raus. Die Wohnung ist groß und hell. Die Einrichtung sowie die Bäder aber teilweiße schon sehr abgewohnt und die Klimaanlage nur bedingt leistungsfähig. Im Haus wird zur Zeit heftig renoviert. Ich würde die Wohnung nicht mit mehr als 4 Personen buchen.

Really nice apartment in a great section of town - convenient to EVERYTHING!

Enjoyed tremendously, Marina Checked is in and gave us recommendations for where to eat. The apartment was a dream.
