Personnel formidable, adaptabilité, renseignements. Logement est propre et confortable. Les résidents sont sympathiques.

Absolutely loved this hostel! The owners and staff are the loveliest people. The location is great and very safe. There are cafes, restaurants and a supermarket nearby. 15min walk to the beach. The breakfast was really nice. I stayed in the female dorm and it was very clean and spacious. I will definitely be going back at the end of my trip!

Great location, with pool, aircon in all rooms. Wifi is very good - enough for remote work. Washing machine available on the property !

The place doesn't have a generator, so if there's a power cut, you need to go to a cafe for wifi.

The Gallivanters Hostel is located just outside and in a nice and quiet location. There are 2 supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. If you like walking a lot, you can also walk wonderfully to the waterfront. From the bus station I took a Bajaji and to the airport I took an Uber taxi. A breakfast is offered, which also includes delicious fruits. You can cook lunch and dinner as you wish in the self-catering kitchen. The female dorm is clean and large, the beds are comfortable and there is a large closet to store a few things. There is air conditioning (very good, it was very hot in Dar when I was there) and plenty of coat hooks. The bathroom has a small water problem, there was always a puddle on the floor, but you could shower nice and hot. There are several places to chill out and an outdoor pool - but unfortunately I didn't use it because I was always on the go. But a girl in my room was swimming in it every day. The entire Gallivanters team is very friendly, helpful and very relaxed. I would come back!

The colorful paint, ambiance, space (there's enough room to be with people and to be alone. There are plenty of sitting areas, lounge, and dining. There's a clean swimming pool and the breakfast was nice. A simple sandwich and fruit. The ladies are available to do laundry at a fee. My dorm (of 4 beds) was large with a high ceiling and private bathroom. It is located in a safe place, behind embassies, close to shops and just a walk to Coco Beach. The owners are great people, and helpful. They have clean white bedding and free towels (most backpackers charge for towels) which is great!

The aircon was not adjustable.
