The accomodation is very very tired

The beds & room furniture as well as bathrooms must be 30 plus years old & is very tired

Rooms are dated. Building is 50 years old.

The rooms are a lovely size and well equipped, the location is excellent, beach is gorgeous and I enjoyed a swim in the pool which was very nice too

the rooms were a little cold - it was unusually windy and the wind was blowing through the air con! there was nothing that could be done about this apparently. Staff were generally a bit dismissive and uninterested - had to ask a few times to get an extra blanket. Breakfast is plentiful but strangely unappealing - lots of heavy pastry/ fried stuff/creamy sauces and cheese but no fresh fruit and yoghurt and no decent coffee

The swimming pool area and spa wasn't clear enough. Also, spa towels wasn't clear (saw some mud points on it), but still it was fresh.

The carpet in the room had not been vacuumed and was very dirty. . It was full of hairs and there were even pills on the carpet! We booked this hotel to be on the beach and to host a family dinner. After we arrived we were told that the dining room would not be open for dinner that night.

Staff is very accommodating

We came here as a family for a few nights away from our traditional home with the hope that we'd have some "quality" time together. The location is great, lots of places to walk, visit and engage in activites (I parked our vehicle for free and didn't get in it until we left). The rooms were much bigger than I expected for an Israeli hotel and I was pleasantly surprised by this. The balconies are also very large and you don't feel like you're hanging of the edge of a building. Food in the restaurant was standard fare and while nothing was exceptional it was always hot and plentiful.. My kids greatly appreciated the Omlette station at breakfast and the deserts at dinner. All the staff were pleasant and easy to deal with in your own chosen language (so long as it was Hebrew, English, Russian or French) and they made our visit easy.

It seems that the organization was unprepared for the demand on their equipment and services. This is an older hotel, with case goods that are a bit worn, but totally functional. There was a significant shortage in each of our rooms (we had 2) of hand towels (none), tissues (none), bath towels and drinking cups. Given that there were 6 people in 2 rooms you'd have thought they'd have "stocked' our rooms accordingly. We requested that more of these items be brought up to our room and they arrived almost 24 hours later and in insufficient quantity. The dining room has some great views and meals on Shabbat are served in traditional Israeli buffet style. What was shocking to us, is that when we arrived when the dining room opened on Friday night is that about 1/3 of the tables did not have cutlery, drinking cups or napkins. Seems odd since the staff knew when people would be arriving and how many would be in attendance. When we asked to staff to actually bus our table and provide us with what we needed, it took almost 15 minutes and some aggressive requests to make something happen and then when the cutlery and napkins arrived they literally dumped on our table in front of us. We paid almost 2x the price of smaller less "luxurious" hotels in the same area, I guess I just expected that most of "the little things" would be taken care with an attention to detail.

Hotel very dated. Furniture and communal areas are throwbacks to the 1970s.
