The hotel was very clean and the surrounding grounds were well maintained. The room was clean and quiet and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast offered had a good variety of items to choose from, including eggs, sausage links, waffles, bagels, biscuits, hot and cold cereal, fruit, baked goods along with coffee, tea and juice. The staff was friendly and helpful and housekeepers tended to each room as requested by the guests. The hotel is centrally located and is near restaurants, shops, banks and other businesses.

We did not encounter any issues during our stay.

This hotel was the cleanest, friendliest hotel we have stayed in. It is owned by the Amish and they did everything correctly. Big breakfast in a big breakfast area and big rooms. They provided free beach chairs and an umbrella.

Everything was clean and the staff was very kind. The hotel was very very nice too.

We needed a specific location, however it’s only 15-18 minutes to the beach, St Armand’s Circle, Siesta Key and a myriad of local activities.All of the staff we encountered from everyone at reception, Lourdes who cleaned our room, Edna Mae (exceptional) and the entire breakfast room staff, and the general cleaning crew were professional, courteous, helpful and accommodating. The room was very comfortable, nice selection of tv channels, pleasant lobby area, terrific Amish art and photographs throughout, nice pool area (rooms to change) and gym. Excellent adjacent Der Dutchman Amish Restaurant, Bakery and Gifts with an option to go menu. Great food selections and an outstanding staff; hats of to Anel. This will be our hotel in Sarasota. Highly recommend!

Clean, well appointed without being crowded. Large rooms. Excellent staff. The restaurant was like a taste of home with entrees like Oma used to make. Quiet, convenient and clean with wonderful folks.

The Carlisle was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The nearby Amish restaurant was a walk across the parking lot and had a bakery and also a gift shop (on the upper level). We enjoyed our time here and in the surrounding area.
