The reviews so far have been in German, which may mean that many English vistors will not quite appreciate what Germany, the Pfalz and this lovely apprtment have to offer. We have been going to Germany for several years now, but have never been to the Pfalz before. Really good countryside, good walks, splendid scenery and lots to do (if you don't want discos). Lovely towns like Speyer and Heidelberg within the hour, but the key to this area is the wonderful countryside. As to the accommodation - it can't be beaten. Excellent facilities, Mr and Mrs Steiner are really helpful and engaging. The village itslef has a good mix of pubs/eating places, and the local store offers the necessaries - rolls, cheese etc. Thoroughly recommended. Mrs Steiner even telephoned us after we'd got home to thank us for leaving the appartment tidy!
