Great place to explore the surrounding area

Great location, good facilities and very pleasant and accommodating hosts. We loved the quick responses and pleasant way in which our hosts helped out with ie. providing us with some extra keys and such. We were visiting with a group of 7, and the property felt very comfortable and welcoming. The surroundings Re splendid, with a lot of historical sites and the remarkable flat lands of North Eastern Groningen.

This review has two sides, one about the house and it's lovely hosts, the other one about the renting company, Novasol, which organized the rental via booking.com. The communications with Novasol were not pleasant at all. There were inconsistencies in the invoices and when contacted they were very unfriendly and rude even. After some discussions they did alter the invoice and refunded the difference, but the interaction left us with an unpleasant memory to an otherwise brilliant stay. Booking.com staff was great in getting this sorted. And when you read the above, please do not let this reflect on your opinion of the property itself or the hosts. Both were great.
