Spacious, clean and well-maintained apartment in a great location. Large bathroom, working TV, access via a short staircase (room is below ground). Wardrobe is big enough with hangers and a steamer there too if you need to get your clothes organised. Plenty of room to relax and get ready for a day out/event.

Poor ventilation, as the windows can only open slightly it makes it very stuffy inside. The bed was two singles pushed together with an overly soft topper which you sink into, that left us both sore, and the mattress underneath was quite dirty along with the couches. Previous guests’ rubbish was left in the fridge. A kitchenette sink and full-length mirror would also be useful additions.

Great location, just outside central Amsterdam, so it's easy to walk everywhere, but you can still find non-touristy cafés and restaurants in the other direction. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable.

The advertised "fully equipped kitchen" is just a fridge with a coffee machine and a kettle on top (that had leftover water in it) and no bowls, only plates.

Very comfortable bed, really quiet, very spacious. Nicely decorated. Useful being able to move the tv on an arm so you can see it wherever you’re sitting.

Being in a basement with no view, but we knew that when we booked. Could have done with some cereal bowls for breakfast & a coffee table between the armchairs and some washing up liquid to wash the plates, cups etc

The only real positive was the location, which is convenient for exploring the city.

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet our expectations. The room was not very clean, the bathroom had a persistent sewage smell, and the overall atmosphere felt quite dark and uninviting. Overall, we felt the property was significantly overpriced for what it offers, and the value for money was disappointing.
