ibis budget Augsburg City

Pretty spacious and very clean. Staff allowed me to store my luggage when I arrived before check-in timing. There was good AC. Comfortable beds.

Location was a little out of the way, time it well to catch the bus into the old town!

Typical Ibis Budget interior, was close to the Autobahn exit, free parking and a secure (keypad entry, video security) Bicycle Room. About 50 Minutes drive to the München Westfriedhof P+R where you can park on the lot or in a garage for €2/24 hr if you use a bicycle or public transport from there

It’s a budget hotel so things are simple but clean and maintained, I bring my own pillow with me because I prefer that and don’t expect extras at this class of hotel, still slept very well

It was in an amazing location, just 15 minutes of walking from the Hauptbahnhof (even less if you take the bus). In a quiet part of town with amazing views as you walk along the park/river or the neighborhood roads.

Only issue was how creaky the floors were, you were able to hear people walking right above, I assume they heard us from below as well. Also, the trash can and sink being outside of the bathroom was a little weird, but nothing too crazy. At least the water was drinkable.

Staff was excellent. They let us store our bags before checkin, which was crucial. Great steak restaurant nearby.

Rooms have minimal insulation, so there was much noise from other rooms, especially from above. Location is somewhat close to center, but not quite close enough. Breakfast was minimalistic.
