Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The apartment is spacious enough and has a sofa bed for children. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Notre-Dame and many of Paris’s main tourist attractions. Public transport connections are also excellent. Even though the area is quite busy with people walking by throughout the day, as you would expect in the city center with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby, the apartment was surprisingly quiet, and we slept very comfortably. The apartment also has heating, which is a nice bonus if you're visiting during the colder months.

I'm not sure what went wrong, but our phone numbers were never registered in the DOM Key app. As we later discovered, the host apparently doesn't check messages on Booking.com, so we ended up having to call her directly, and someone brought us physical keys instead. Not realy a big problem, but being able to unlock the door with our phones would probably have been much more convenient. Just something to keep in mind. The second downside isn't really a downside — it could actually be a bonus, but only if you're an elf who poops violets. In that case, the lovely floral scent from the toilet will spread throughout the entire apartment. 🧚‍♂️🌸 Apparently, the ventilation in the apartment isn't particularly good or perhaps the flimsy toilet door just doesn't seal very well.

The location was amazing right at the Latin Quarter, loads of cafe and so close to public transportation

There was daily utility traffic each morning but despite being so wonderfully central the night life was no problem!! No noice. Our little portable AC unit was plenty to keep us cool

This apartment is an excellent location for seeing Notre Dame and the area. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen has everything we needed. It is on the ground floor (actually there are two steps down to the apartment) so it is very convenient for entering/leaving with luggage.

It was warm (high 70's) the 3 days we were at the apartment. There is no air conditioning and unfortunately, there is a bar directly across the alley. People were standing outside the bar at night smoking. We couldn't open the windows as the cigarette smoke would enter the apartment. This would be a nice place in cooler weather.
