The breakfast buffet choice was excellent, the best I have experienced in a budget Paris hotel.
Great location for arrival at Gare de Nord, hotel about 15 minutes walk, and Gare de l'Est metro is about 5 minutes from the hotel with one ride on Line 4 that takes you into the centre.
Room was spacious and clean. We also liked the hospitality table in reception, that included cold water refill (still or sparkling) for your water bottle.
As a bonus, great and remarkedly good value sushi restaurant just along the road from the hotel. Would highly recommend if you like sushi.
During our three nights stay, a few things ran out on the breakfast buffet (muesli and breakfast tea) and were not replaced.
The cold buffet items were good quality, but the hot options less so. Scrambled eggs were tasteless, bacon very fatty and sausages tasted like 90%+ cereal. Most diners, unsurprisingly, did not bother with the hot food.
The great breakfast choice is spoilt by poor stock control and poor quality hot options.

The location was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a triple room which was great. The decor was nice and it was clean. Great shower.
The bathroom door lock didn't work which we told them about but only at the end of the stay so it could be fixed for the next guests. Because it was a triple room there was not enough space to open the window by the bed. The design of the shower base was not ideal as water would spill over onto the floor after shower use but the shower was great and the bathroom size fine.

The attendant at the front desk was VERY helpful (Yassir). Any request I had he answered promptly and any directions I asked for he looked up immediately. Thank you Kabanel and thank you Yassir!!!!
can’t think of anything. The breakfast was also fantastic. Lots of great food…

Lovely staff and front reception with nice features like coffee, sweets, breakfast. The rooms had all we needed for a short stay but quite small
Rooms maybe not the best air conned given the warmer temperatures and nearby area a bit noisy if windows are left open
