* Beautiful, peaceful property directly on the beach.
* Much larger than expected, with two swimming pools and plenty of space.
* Never felt crowded, even during the day.
* You can walk along the beach to Pontal de Maracaípe in around 40 minutes.
* Simple but charming and well-equipped rooms: hot shower, hairdryer, minibar/fridge, safe, air conditioning, hammock and drying rack.
* Lovely attention to detail, including towel decorations with fresh flowers.
* Games and beach equipment available.
* Lots of beautiful, Instagram-friendly spots around the property.
* Varied breakfast that changes every day, with eggs and tapioca available on request.
* Fresh and surprisingly varied restaurant menu, from Caesar salad to ceviche.
* Shower and bathroom facilities remain available after check-out, which is extremely convenient.
* The private horseback ride was one of the highlights of the stay and I would definitely recommend it.
* Special thanks to the security staff member who took care of me when I wasn’t feeling well on my last day.
* Overall, the property felt peaceful, safe and very well suited to spending an entire day between the beach, pools and restaurant.
Most excursions are organised by an external tour operator and are group tours, with several hotel pick-ups that can make the journey longer. English is not always available, so it is worth checking in advance.
* This does not apply to the horseback ride, which was private and an excellent experience.
These are only minor points, and I would definitely stay at Xalés de Maracaípe again.

We had an excellent stay. Reception staff were very friendly and provided all the information we needed and allowed us an early check-in. Facilities are amazing and well kept with a nice pool and direct access to the quiet and beautiful beach. Breakfast was delicious and offered a lot of variety. We highly recommend Pousada Xalés de Maracaípe and very happy that we discovered this wonderful place. We will return!
