Good location very near to the main street and the lake. Room was very clean and had a nice view. Good and versatile breakfast. Helpful staff and cozy place.

The hotel is very beautiful and cozy overall.
To get there, you must cross the entire village from the dock where the boat drops you off, you enjoy getting to know Hallstatt along the way, but it's a bit inconvenient if you're carrying suitcases.
The room is spacious, and the bed is very comfortable; the bathroom is small but clean and fully equipped.
They clean your room and change the towels daily—excellent!
You have hardly any contact with the staff, but they welcomed me kindly.
The hotel is located next to the funicular station that takes you up to the salt mine and just steps away from the lake; the setting is wonderful.
Since there’s no elevator, you have to carry your luggage up the stairs, and no one offers to help—it’s terrible! In my case, I was only a couple of months out of surgery, and my room was quite far away; I had to haul my suitcases all the way to the far end of the second floor.
