Kaub is a lovely little village along the banks of the Rhine with a fantastic view over the little castle on the island in the river. It has a few amenities but bigger supermarkets are easily reachable by car so that is no issue. There are a couple restaurants, cafe and a bakery in walking distance. I loved that we could walk out the door of our apartment and walk to the banks of the river and see the boats drift past. It is very tranquil and not touristy. The apartment is spacious, the seating comfortable and the kitchen is very well kitted out. The bedroom is divided into 2 parts with one large double bed and a single bed in the other section. The room is large so easy enough to walk around in and put down your suitcases etc. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom is very spacious as well and the shower is very powerful! If you don't want to get the whole floor wet, don't turn the water on to full power! :-) The host was very welcoming and easy to reach.

There is a streetlight outside the bedroom window, and the curtains don't really block the light, so if you are light sensitive, this could be an issue. The garden is reachable only via a narrow steep staircase, not viewable from the house, so not conducive to letting your pet roam around in it.

Alles toll , gute Ausstattung, modern , klein , fein. Sehr ruhig ,mitten in der Natur , tolle Wanderwege. Gute Autobahnanbindung ( 3km entfernt ) Wer die Ruhe sucht,ist hier richtig. Netflix funktioniert perfekt. Komme gerne wieder🤍

Gemütliches kleines Ferienhaus im Zentrum. Alles Notwendige vorhanden, gut gepflegt. Bäcker um die Ecke, Tante Emma (Marion)-Laden 3 Minuten entfernt. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und andere Aktivitäten im Oberen Mittelrheintal (Welterbe). Der Hanggarten über dem Haus ist ein Kleinod, wenn auch etwas Trittsicherheit gefordert ist :-)

Uns hat die Küchenausstattung, der kleine Garten sowie das Ambiente besonders gut gefallen. Zudem war die Wohnung schön ruhig: von Zügen und Autos war nichts zu hören.

Das Bett war uns ein klein wenig zu weich.
