The location was wonderful, the apartment very comfortable and clean - we'd return in a second.

The only negative was dealing with the online property manager Cotoon. They complicated the process with unnecessary forms, conflicting instructions, several phone calls, and required a security deposit, encouraging us instead to pay for insurance, and we had to take photos on arrival and departure to show why our deposit should be returned (and we haven't received confirmation of that yet). I have booked through booking.com for years and this process was so unnecessary, it really detracted from the otherwise excellent experience.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of Colmar making everything easy walking distance. The apartment had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable.

A map to get to the property when driving to avoid the pedestrian area would be helpful as we struggled finding it. In the end, I had to find it on foot, then figure out how we could drive to the door. Also, we had the impression all the bedrooms had air conditioning, but it was only the master bedroom and living room. Since it was cool during our stay, it wasn’t a problem, but could have been if we needed to sleep upstairs in the heat.

Great location. The three bedroom apartment has lots of space.

1. Mouldy pots in the kitchen 2. Super steep stairs to get to two of the bedrooms 3. The demand to pay 30 euros non refundable in case of breakages or a 300 euro credit card hold. The demand came a couple of days before check in and they withheld check in details until paid. Stay somewhere else that doesn’t make you do this. An unnecessary cost that felt like we were just being scammed.
