島 stay holoholo

Lovely staff, clean room, close to the port and restaurants. Walking distance from beaches, a bit over 1km, but a pleasure to walk. Great snorkeling tour with the staff, washing machines and dryers on site. Restaurant below with amazing fish for fish eaters for the evenings.

Little things that need to be fixed here and there.

建物も新しく、部屋も綺麗。洗濯機やマリングッズを流すシャワー、感動したのは氷とクーラーボックスレンタルができること。3階にはベンチとテーブルがあって星空眺めなら一杯やりました。 ツアーも居酒屋もあるのでここで完結できるし、スタッフは皆優しい方ばかりで座間味が本当にいい旅になった。

ハイシーズンで高かったことくらい！

Our room in Shima Stay holoholo was exactly as pictured in the online photos. We stayed in a triple room, which had three comfortable beds, and our own toilet and bathroom. The shower was great, and felt wonderful after a day of snorkelling. Wifi was reliable. The air conditioning worked well, so although the room was not large it never felt stuffy. We really appreciated the coin laundry in the building. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location in the pretty port village was perfect. It is only a 5-minute walk to the ferry dock, and less than a 5-minute walk to two small grocery stores and many great restaurants. Shima Stay holoholo provided a helpful book in our room with restaurant recommendations, which we really appreciated. We ate at nearby Little Kitchen, Nanamaru (make reservations the day before), and Marumiya, and all were delicious dinners! Zamami Island is gorgeous and well worth a visit. We had rain for about half of our stay, and we still loved it. Snorkelling at Furuzamami Beach was so fun!

The common areas were only available until 5:30pm, so when we wanted to stay in for a relaxing evening, our only option with our triple room was to hang out in our room and sit on our beds. That was fine since we only stayed three nights, so it felt cozy and fun, but had we been there for a longer stay I could imagine it might start to feel a bit cramped, so in that case I would recommend booking a larger room.
