Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und herzlich. Man fühlte sich willkommen. Die Parkplatz-Problematik wurde schnell zur Zufriedenheit gelöst. Die Wohnung hat von der Lage her unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Alles ist fußläufig in ein paar Minuten erreichbar, (Bäcker, Restaurants, Supermärkte, Strand, Strandbars, Promenade, Ausflugsboote, Fähre nach Brijuni, etc.) - die kleine Straße mit Parkplätzen liegt zwar direkt vor dem Haus, es war aber nie laut. Die Wohnung selbst liegt im zweiten und dritten Stock. Die Zugangstür ist zwar etwas abenteuerlich - aber man gewöhnt sich dran. Die Wohnung ist angenehm geschnitten, mit drei Schlafzimmern, einer Toilette, einem Bad mit Dusche und Toilette sowie einem großen Wohnzimmer mit Sitzlandschaft und einer Schreibecke im zweiten Stock - und mit der Küche einen Stock höher, die direkt mit einer Dachterrasse verbunden ist. Der Blick aus den Fenstern ist einfach wunderbar und die Dachterrasse das Tüpfelchen auf dem 'i' - denn hier kann man spektakuläre Sonnenuntergänge am Meer genießen. Achtung: Die Küche im dritten Stock ist recht niedrig und hat auch noch eine Dachschräge. Für mich mit 1,63 cm Größe völlig problemlos - aber ab 1,75 m Größe sollte man auf seinen Kopf aufpassen.

Zu meckern gibt es nur wenig: Die Dusche ist etwas unbequem, da man den Duschkopf während des Duschens in der Hand halten muss. Eine Duschstange zur Fixierung des Duschkopfes wäre angebracht. Und auf der Dachterrasse kann man nicht beschatten. Ein Sonnensegel oder ähnliches wäre schön.

Direkt am Strand. Man muss nur 30 m über die Straße laufen. Ist keine sehr belebte Straße. Bäckerei gleich neben der Haustür. Einkaufen 5 Minuten Fußweg. Drei getrennte Schlafzimmer für vier Personen. Man kann auch auf der Couch schlafen im Wohnzimmer. Ist allerdings ein Wohnzimmer mit der Küche im gleichen Raum.

Schöne helle Wohnung, direkt gegenüber vom Strand!

The location and the host are the biggest advantages: - The apartment's location is great, especially for dog owners (the dog beach is very close). - The air conditioning works well enough to maintain a pleasant temperature inside. - Plenty of towels are provided. - Very nice owner.

The apartment for sure needs refresh: - The biggest problem with this apartment is the entrance door. It's two thin boards held together by a thin bolt only at the bottom. Even when closed, nothing holds top of the door. My family didn't feel safe because the door was very fragile and could easily have been forced open if someone wanted to force their way in. Admittedly, the entrance doors to the entire building are much more solid, but you never know who's sleeping in the other apartments and whether they'll remember to close them. - The bathroom door doesn't lock (the lock doesn't work). - The apartment has a rooftop terrace, but the lighting doesn't work, which significantly reduces its usability (due to the temperatures, it's most pleasant to sit on after sunset). - The stairs to the apartment are quite steep and narrow. This wasn't a problem for me, but I think they should be photographed honestly, as not everyone can manage them. Overall, this is an apartment with a lot of untapped potential. It really doesn't take much effort to significantly improve the comfort of use. I think working lighting and properly functioning doors should be a given. I hope these things will be improved, as there's truly great potential here. If the apartment were refreshed and these shortcomings were addressed, I'd be happy to return. In its current state, I probably wouldn't.
