We stayed in an apartment with a mezzanine level; my daughter slept upstairs, while the baby stayed with us in the lower area. Breakfast is served in the restaurant every morning, and dinner is also available on-site for an additional fee. The staff were lovely and friendly, though it was a shame they didn't offer much information about the local area. The room was cleaned and tidied daily. You can book a horseback ride—a delightful experience that my daughter really enjoyed. There is plenty of open space, and my two-year-old loved running around.

The route to the location is unpleasant, a large part of the road is unpaved, and Waze or Google Maps keep changing the directions, making it difficult to get there. The breakfast wasn't extensive enough for my taste, there were hardly any vegetables. The wardrobe is open-style, so that’s something to keep in mind. I missed having a chair to put things on and a cup for toothbrushes, and the climb up to the gallery floor was a bit scary. The pillows were a little uncomfortable for me. Overall it was a beautiful and pleasant room, and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Die Lage ist sehr ab vom Schuß (das wussten wir aber vorher), jedoch lädt diese Seite des Gardasees abends nicht zum Flanieren und Essen gehen ein; da ist unserer Meinung nach Garda/Bardolino/Lazise die bessere Wahl! Sirmione war 40min mit dem Auto Bisschen schade war, dass uns beim Personal gefühlt nur ein Mensch bedienen wollte, weil wir kein Italienisch sprechen; erwarte kein fließendes Englisch und Deutsch schon gar nicht - aber einen Tisch muss ich auf Englisch schon reservieren können m. M. n.
