not too far to slopes (maybe 500m up slight hill), comfortable room (tatami and futon). decent onsen (simple but effective), reasonable breakfast, effective (but a little bit rough) drying room, vending machines for beers, drinks and snacks. Good laundromat. Pretty views out to the valley
got a bad stink of kerosene? when it got windy - the staff told us the wind can blow back through flus and cause this. My tip - turn of your oil heater and ask for a plug in electric - the stink was pretty bad and one of my friends got headaches from it!

Staff are frequently described as kind, welcoming and helpful. Renting ski equipment here is very inexpensive; even though the gear is outdated and old.
The food selection was limited, and the overall flavor was somewhat underwhelming.

Great value for money compared to more expensive options. Staff were super helpful even with limited english. The public bathroom was nice the the onsen was great after a long day of skiing.
Futons were not super comfortable, and the pillows were pretty bad. Also a bad odour coming from what I think was the heater in the room.

"とにかく、リーズナブルに宿泊出来ました。メインはスキーなんで、快適に寝れて翌日スキー出来ればOKなんで。
受付の方も親切でした。
宿泊当日の朝に、着替えだけ寄ったのですが、心良く着替えOKですと言って頂き、助かりました。
また、来年度も予約しました。"
