Kiso Mikawaya is a bit dated, but the room we had was very spacious and comfortable. It’s hard to beat a huge window view directly over the river that allows you to listen to the bubbling of the river when you open the window. Breakfast was delightful with lots of tasty options. The location is a bit of a walk to/from the train station (15-20min), so keep that in mind if proximity is important to you.

On sen in the accomodation. The room was super spacious and comfortable. The room overlooked the river and you sleep with its soothing sound.
