Location was excellent and the vibe around the place feels less touristy. The stairs leading up to the property aren’t as difficult as I initially thought. It is definitely doable. When we checked in, Maurizio helped out with the bags which was great! Coming back down with the luggages is a lot easier. A taxi rank is close by the property so it’s easy to grab one. Finally, the famous Vivoli affogato gelato place is literally at the door step of this property if you’re looking to get some. We didn’t know about the popularity of Vivoli until we arrived. This is a minor, unexpected plus!
We had to ask for the hot water boiler to be turned up as it wasn’t consistent hot enough for a shower. One of the bulbs in the bathroom was also broken. The poor Wifi connection and drop out in the property is the real negative for us as it’s an essential service nowadays when travellers rely heavily on the Internet during the stay.

Great area, clean apartment, nice host, we enjoyed our stay!
As there are plenty of stairs, maybe people with reduced mobility should pay attention to this. But for the rest, once you get used to them mentally, it’s fine.

The apartment is in a good location. Walkable distance from the train station. There are also good bars and restaurants nearby.
- It's not self-check-in. I started to receive WhatsApp messages to arrange the meet up for the collection of the keys.
- we got a surprise 60 euros fee at the check-in that had to be paid in cash, as we were 2 people and the reservation was only for one person.
- There is no lift, not easy to go up and downstairs when you have luggage
- The ceiling where the bed is is too low, I hit my head a couple of times when getting off the bed.
- the apartment is too bright, there are windows also on the ceiling. It's difficult not to wake-up early.
- the check out time is at 10am, which is too early. We tried a late checkout but we were told that the cleaner would arrive at 10am and we would need to leave when the cleaner arrives
