The host Pieter was so kind, helpful and warm - both before our arrival and during our stay. The location was superb - right on the canal and near to great restaurants and shops. The drinks and nibbles at the apartment were generous. The decor was super contemporary and beautifully presented. There were even fresh flowers in the lounge and bathroom. Every finish - crockery, glasses, fabric, tiles, wallpaper etc. was really stylish and high-quality. It really is a luxurious place to stay. I would return in a heartbeat.

The second bedroom is very small and has no windows so I'd just be aware of this before booking.

The living room was beautiful and we loved having the windows open and overlooking the canal.

I microwave would have been nice but we made it fine without one.

This is a beautiful apartment in a very central location. The hosts were responsive and the apartment had coffee, drinks, and a few snacks which is always a welcome surprise when traveling. There were also numerous books about Amsterdam which we enjoyed browsing while lounging around in the well appointed main room overlooking the canal. We literally spent hours just reading and hanging out in the main room because it was so delightful. The Wifi is great and though we only needed to use it one night there is air conditioning available in both bedrooms.

It's Amsterdam so there are some steep stairs leading up to the apartment which could be challenging for older guests with mobility issues. The second bedroom is a built in and is very small. This was fine for our son, but just something for an all adults crowd to be aware of when booking.

Property was in good location

The stairs upon entry are very deceiving , no where in description is it mentioned . The bathroom had a sewer like smell and the flush continually ran, the bedroom 1 was also very confined
