Some of the table waiting staff were a little slovenly. It is not very professional where people are dealing with paying customers in the hospitality industry.

Too warm in hotel room

Sligo Railway Station hotel, that has retained its grandeur. The decor and furnishings were of a high standard and my accessible room was perfect. The buffet breakfasts are very good quality and help was available for the less mobile.
The only area of complaint was the exterior elevator to get the ‘hard of walking’ from the car park to the first floor hotel reception, it was temperamental in operation.

The breakfast fare was reasonable, but not excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Cereal selection and coffee should be better. The breakfast room decor and furniture is tired looking.
