The location is excellent, so close to the city centre. I would describe the decor as '70's so maybe not to everyone's taste. However a very comfortable bed and everything clean. No cooking other than a microwave which wasn't a problem for us. There is a wonderful deli just around the corner where we purchased cold meats, cheese, olives etc for an evening meal. Retaurants are numerous for eating out.

The lighting leaves a bit to be desired and the small fridge, kettle and coffee machine share 2 powerpoints so you need to swap plugs around. Neither of these were deal breakers

The WC in a separate wooden structure in the centre of the room was impractical and also had no mechanical ventilation . It also blocked natural light getting into the room . The shower room/ bathroom was narrow and the bench supporting the sink was not level allowing excess water to drain onto floor .

Location is perfect for all of Bruges many attractions, restaurants and pubs. The Apartment has a unique charm and we were provided with all of the information we needed. As suggested, there are some great restaurants/bars a little way away from the touristy bit. NB: Te "touristy bits" are not off putting or oppressive.

We came by bicycle and there is limited storage - but it didn't prove a problem/worry.
