House of Bruges

We received final details too late about entry door code, room change, and breakfast arrangement on our travel day from Dallas to BRU to Brugge. Once enroute to Europe, I don't do any emails for security reasons. Therefore I didn't have the entry door code, nor info about breakfast across the street at Willa's. (Nice place and great staff). Fortunately we received a "What's App" from Ann telling us of the room change and its code box only. I did check my email the night before we left Texas for possible updates. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel and its location.

All minor issues were discussed with Ann, the receptionist.

Great central location

Nothing

Quiet, comfortable beds, the rooms were large. The location was perfect and we enjoyed our stay.

The fans and ceiling lights were very dusty in Winter 1 and Winter 2 m. No glasses in the room, no fresh milk. Winter2 wardrobe was impossible to use as a short person, the hanging space was too high up. Also Winter 2 had no extractor fan in the bathroom so the bedroom was steamy. Also the bathroom was cornered off with a curtain.

Location was good and lifts to upper floors.

Original booked room was dark, with poor lighting. It was overlooked, with no privacy without curtains closed. Reception is not manned 24hrs and telephone not always answered. Cleaning is not perfect and room facilities not the best.
