Location and authentic machiya. Not overly modernized.
Cold in the winter and noise you can hear from outside is not for long term stay for me. It was one night stay before moving on to a different location for us, so served the purpose.

It was located in an amazing location. The house was very clean and the bathroom was superb. It’s spacious but cozy too.
