Casa de Coria

The hotel is located a few blocks from the lovely square that marks the center of Chacras de Coria. Walking distance to many wineries or just a few minutes ride to others like the exceptional Lagarde. Beautiful grounds, including a barbecue, olive trees and grape vines. Exceptional service.

Casa de Coria punches way above its weight. I thought I was booking a simple low-key base of operations for my trip to wine country, but this place is a destination unto itself! It's an incredible oasis hiding behind unassuming gates in the middle of the suburbs. The decor, the facilities, the breakfast, the spa, the general vibes were what I'd expect at a place 3 to 4 times the cost. And the real stunner was the hospitality of the owner Bruce and manager Adrian. Both some incredible characters; they go so above and beyond to welcome you and treat you as if you are a part of this little community they built. This isn't just some perfunctory "welcome the guests" chat (though if you want to just be left alone I'm sure they'd oblige); we stayed up well into the night talking about all things Argentina. If you're looking for a place to stay then book this place, especially before they realize what a steal it is at the current prices!

Plumbing can take some trial and error before you figure out how to get the shower to a reasonable temperature. Room doors could use some weather stripping to keep the occasional mosquito out. (We just put a towel down against the door though)

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa de Coria! This is a very nice base for your visit to the wine region - the main square is 1 min walk and there are many vineyards in the area. The staff helped us with great restaurant recommendations and renting an electric bike. Breakfast was decent and the rooms were nice as well! Very good value for money too.
