The mix of old and new. The view from my room, how quiet it was.

Our room had a beautiful view of the canal and was large and spacious.
Wish the bathroom had had double sinks.

Location and the look.
The exterior rooms could hear people yelling outside through the whole night.

Location
The staff were not very encouraging or welcoming . We did arrive late due to the arranged taxi from booking .com being over 35 minutes late . Language difficulty was apparent . No explanation of facilities at hotel . The bar never opened and we found the spa ourselves to find it fully booked . When we left to check out not a thank you or how did you enjoy your stay .
We are very independent women travellers so absolutely are not demanding or difficult to please .
Gdansk was interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves .
