It takes about 20 minutes to climb the stairs to reach the property at the top of the hill. I had to carry my 20 kg suitcase all the way up and then back down again. There were bugs in the room. One even fell onto my face during the night, which was terrifying. When I woke up, I also noticed many bugs on the floor. There was a noticeable smell of cooking oil and food in the air. The shower was extremely inconvenient, as we had to press the water button every five seconds to keep the water running. The wall is thin, it can be loud and i can hear my neighbours.

Views were amazing and the accommodation was very clean. The food at the restaurant was lovely and getting to look out over Salzburg on a sunny evening while eating was a real bonus.

The restaurant closed quite early, but that may have been because it was Sunday, be sure to check opening times in advance to avoid disappointment. It would have been helpful to have some access to tea and coffee making facilities as, once the restaurant was closed there was none and we weren't close to other shops/restaurants for alternatives.

Location - up on the hill, took the forest trails, nice views. Spacious shower room.

Showers didn’t work- drains not working. No mention of elevator at museum. Had to ask for towels
