The outdoor onsen was great. The beds were softer than the average Japanese beds so I got much better sleep. Dinner was good value and alcohol was included.

The bedrooms were shabby and old. The beds had eiderdowns on them that looked like they had come from the 60’s. No duvet cover so goodness knows when they were last washed. The sofas along the corridors were very old and stained. No proper towels. We thought the towels in the room were hand towels so asked for bath towels only to be given two more tiny thin ragged towels which you were also expected to use in the Onsen.

I stayed in a suite, and it was even better than I expected. It had a private onsen, a sauna, and a lovely sitting area. The bathroom was very well equipped. Everything was designed to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. The receptionist who welcomed me was especially kind and patient. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel very welcome. On the day I left, I missed my bus. She immediately helped me arrange another ride, and I was very grateful for her help. Dinner was served in a private room and was beautifully prepared. It was a wonderful experience and made the evening feel special. A lovely stay, with warm and thoughtful hospitality.

The hotel feels a little dated in the areas outside the rooms. However, everything is exceptionally clean and very well maintained.

The best feature is the location on the river and the open air onsen. Food is also very good with great variety.

The facilities are quite old, and the Japanese room means that they only set the futon beds moving the table aside.

外国人のスタッフが多かったが、皆さん一生懸命働いていたのが好印象。

洗面所にコンセントがない、コンセントがある所に鏡がないのでヘアアイロンを使う場所がない。 空調が極端に冷えるので、夜寝る際の温度設定が難しく何度か夜間に起きてしまう。温度を上げると急に暑くなる。 景色が最悪、駐車場しか見えない。 バイキング形式の食事でしたが、指定された時間が遅かったからか、食べたいものが品切れであまり並んでいなかった。 部屋の換気扇の音が爆音。 旅館下に駐車場があり、離れた場所にも駐車場があるが、その振分が不明確。旅館下の近い駐車場がガラガラなのに離れた場所を案内された。部屋のランクにより区別があるなら明記して欲しい。
