Location was great. Lots of space for luggage and the children’s bits and bobs. Fantastic to have coffee pods for the machine. Which made a really nice morning espresso.

Creaky floor. Neighbours stamping around until late. Double bed was slightly collapsed on one side so I kept rolling out. All the other beds were great. The front door did not lock. Thankfully our apartment door locked fine. Just not as a secure as I would have liked.

Brilliant central location in a lovely old building with a lovely old door! We found it quiet and peaceful and we had comfy beds. The kettle and mini fridge were so useful to have in the room. It was fairly easy to get in touch with the owners/managers to store luggage in their office, 5-10 mins’ walk away, and organise access to the room. The balcony overlooks a courtyard, not necessarily the prettiest view (!) but a cool and pleasant place to be, we used it every day.

There was no wardrobe or other furniture to unpack into, just a few hangers on hooks. The very bright security lights of a neighbouring government compound stay on all night, which disturbed us a little. There were no chairs on our balcony and only one chair in the room. The pillows were rather high and hard for British tastes, I think.

Great Location!

Nothing

We liked the fact that our host was responsive and available at our request of changing our room without paying any further price.

We didn't like that the kitchen didn't have anything really useful to cook with (No pans, no cutting knifes, no salt/pepper or anything that is a kitchen basic). We asked for a room change so we could prepare food at home but it was useless and sticky. Unfortunately the door to our room was always hard to lock and the doors inside don't close at all (bathroom door stays open and the other one simply isn't fitted so it can stay closed) All in all we believe that some small improvements are necessary to make the stay worth the money.
