The parking and apartment were behind a fenced gate , in a courtyard , so that was nice , right in the center of the city but kinda separated as well ,

The entrance to the building / staircase was in a bad state , also the parking (but thats not directly related to the apartment) was full of mud and muddy puddles

I made the booking at the very last minute so I was concerned if the host would reply at a late time but much to my surprise she did. It was dark at night and it was a bit challenging but she took all the time and patience to ensure I arrived and got in safely. It was certainly a kind gesture.

Great location, we didn't need it, but free parking is a clear bonus. Good kithen facilities, separate bedroom, very good price for what the flat offers, great communication with the host, helpful. Užupis is a great district as you can walk both to the hills park, old town or the Bell tower in like 10 minutes, a lot of carshare cars available for futher travel, a bus stop right at the front of the apartment gates. We liked the yard as well - a very authentic set of buildings there.

The stairwell is not the most pleasant one, and it was a bit icy as well. The flat was very warm without proper way of regulating the temperature, but we kept a window open so that took care of the temperature - better a bit too warm than too cold for sure.

The apartment was quite dirty, and I think it may be worth reconsidering the cleaning person or company. The shower had a lot of mould, smell badly and the microwave was dirty, smelly, and had grease or butter on the walls. The bed linen also didn’t feel properly clean. When we tried to vacuum the layer of dust from the floor, the vacuum cleaner produced an incredibly unpleasant smell and didn’t seem to work properly. I had a very good impression of the owner from our phone conversation, but unfortunately the apartment itself does not seem to be cleaned or maintained to a good standard.
