Robin and his staff were very friendly and caring. Robin served breakfast, made sure everyone had enough to eat, and cracked jokes the entire time.
I am sure that anyone who stays at Haus Bergfriede is well looked after - and the breakfast is more than worth it in my opinion!

The room and house were very comfortable and clean

The accommodation is in Schmilka and is a perfect spot if you do the Malerweg or want to visit Saxon Switzerland. The host is very chatty and lovely. You will feel welcomed straight away and even as a non German speaking tourist you will be able to hear and talk about everything you like. The room was huge and the beds were very comfy. It was near the river Elbe and the ferry.

Friendly owner.
Spiders in every corner; rooms seem not very clean. For the money we paid, compared to other locations we have stayed at in the same trip, which included private bathroom, this place is overpriced.
