Ibis budget Osnabrück City

All fine

Nothing wrong

Positive aspects: - very close to the train station - quiet (with the window closed I did not hear the train) - clean - flexible check in system - good communications before arrival - large and comfortable bed - breakfast was OK

- toilet, sink and shower are in the bedroom, but in three contiguous places, i.e. there is not an internal bathroom with all inside (but it was not a big issue) - like in many other hotels of this class, there was a light blanket. Without blanket it was a bit too cold, with the blanket it was a bit too warm. An additional separate sheet would have solved the problem.

The property was was well located and easy to get a taxi into the town centre. The buffet breakfast was very tasty.

There was quite a bit of rubbish and litter outside the building and this didn’t present a good image to visitors. This should be cleared and cleaned up. Also the shower screen door leaked water onto the room floor which I had to mop up every day

I liked the staff, very friendly and explained how the hotel works, no keycards just passwords etc. kindly offered hair dryer and overall just nice people.

The showers, it leaked onto the floor and I had to spend some time cleaning with a towel. Also the air conditioning doesn’t work nearly well enough due to maintenance or poor quality. Both should be looked into and sorted perhaps as otherwise its perfect location, services and budget being let down by the rooms.
