This is a lovely hotel run by friendly, kind, & helpful staff. We had a room with an attached bath & onsen. The room was quite large, very clean, & tastefully decorated. The ac worked great. Also, comes with all the toiletries you might need, coffee/tea, plenty of towels, comfortable beds, kimonos, pjs, slippers, jackets. We opted for the breakfast & dinner. Not fond of Japanese breakfast, but that’s personal taste. They do offer western breakfast some days. The dinners were so delicious! Usually 9 courses that I refer to as Japanese “tapas”. There is a charge if you want your room serviced, otherwise they leave a basket of fresh towels, toiletries, coffee/tea outside your door. Also, free drink at the bar & free drink & cookies in afternoon. The hotel was much nicer than I expected. Very close to the Gora station & cable car. WiFi wasn’t great in our room, but was quickly rectified by giving us a router.I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking to stay in the Gora area.

Would have preferred choice of Japanese or western breakfast for both days of our stay. Ended up getting egg toast from coffee shop across the street.

It was conveniently close to the train station and buses. Great location for the Hakone Tozan cable car. My room at the most beautiful view of the mountains and it was quiet and relaxing.

There was nothing I did not like about the property. It is set up for couples and I was a solo traveler. Maybe they could be aware of that as it did feel like I needed a plus one.

Beautiful and spacious room. Lovely outdoor bath and shower.
