Hotel Carvoeiro Plaza

The staff were very friendly and helpful we had an early flight and was allowed to check in early, the location was fantastic and we lived sitting on the balcony overlooking the sea and town square below it also had a nice rooftop bar

Nice size room with balcony facing the plaza was an interesting experience. Good aircon. and noise tight windows.

Maybe a lot of noise from the lively plaza till late at night

The location was right in the heart of the town. The hotel appeared to have good facilities.

I had requested a parking space ( 6 months ago) but on arrival (and this was mentioned in the booking) was told it could not be reserved. There are only 15 spaces available. Unfortunately, due to a rescheduled outing we did not arrive until 7 pm. Access was via a pedestrian walkway which was later closed by police due to an event. When I first asked reception about parking I was told no spaces were available. I drove around for half an hour searching for a space and the second time I went to the hotel was given a location 10 minutes walk away up a hill. There was no parking close to the hotel due to an event and access was severely limited. If I had known no parking was available and the event which continued with loud music, crowds, lights and noise until midnight, I would not have booked this hotel or cancelled and stayed elsewhere. I was woken at 3 am by people making a ruckus outside. Having said that, the hotel appeared to have good facilities but as it was very late by the time I found parking and unloaded bags, I could not enjoy it. We had to leave early the next morning due to our flight schedule.
