Hotel-Restaurant Laux

Spent one night here as an overnight stop during our family trip. Free parking. It was in the right location for us, could house 6 people and not too expensive either. We had two rooms next to each other, time for check-in was quite late as we were delayed in Luxembourg, but the lady was very nice and told us all necessary information before closing up. Bed and bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent in the restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Perfect for a one night stopover. The are around it is green and lovely also.

Parking spots in front of the house are free, and they have another 50 meters away if the first one is full, but, and this is a big but for me: the spaces at the house are very-very small and the way they are marked it is impossible to park. Guests were parking in spots that should not exist. We are talking of two rows of cars on the left and right, with a very-very narrow corridor between the two. I am unsure how people who parked inside ever got out without the others leaving. ANywaym, the other parking place is very close, so no real problem, just a point of improvement for me.

Large airy room, interestingly decorated plus one of the best German breakfasts we have had for a long time, with a wide variety of fresh breads and rolls, cold meats and sausages and cheeses. Restaurant offered a smaller range of dishes but was well frequented; our regional choices were rustic but tasty!

Lovely hotel. As a family of 6 we stayed in the apartment on top floor. Was brilliant. Clean, spacious and comfortable night sleep. We stayed here on a quick stopover on a big trip and was perfect. Rooms were very modern and decorated lovely. The guy on reception was so helpful too- when we had to access a medical facility for my son he spoke to the hospital for us, because of the language barrier- we were very thankful.
