The staff at reception were very professional.
The room was clean and well presented
The breakfast was varied and good.
Some noise at night as our room was at the back of the hotel.
There was a bar that was emptying bottles at night which was very noisy.

Good location for the historic centre of town. Easy to get to the two train stations for travel to the lakes. Mattresses were comfortable.
Very tired old hotel. Old fashioned, lacking in modern facilities for 21st century 4 star hotel. Things were very basic, small shower, noisy corridors, old furniture, tiny slow lift.
