Traveling across Japan's metropolitan cities, a luxury that's far and few is the peace and quiet you can find here. The traditional meal prepared here were delicious and I got to try food that I wouldn't have concidered to try. Satoshi and his wife Chie were lovely and wecoming. I can absolutely recommend this place whole-heartedly, esspecially if you're planning to visit the rural area of Gifu with family.

The one small issue I had was the transportation to and from the place, only one direct bus to the location and only one bus back to Takayama in the morning. If you rent a car, then you shouldn't be troubled by this at all.

It was a peaceful stay at the countryside. The host was very accommodating and tried to make sure we understand everything by using translator. We also booked dinner and enjoyed the udon pot.
