Leonardo Hotel Dortmund

Loved the modern style and the vibe in the lobby with the open bar. Breakfast was very good and the room was big enough and had everything I needed. Location is excellent - close to the train station and downtown Dortmund. I had to go to the Techno Classica classic car show which was only a few stops by subway away (or 25min walk).

Parking garage was already full when I arrived at night, however there is another public parking across the street which is even cheaper (€14/night). So it was not a big deal for me.

- Modern, well kept, decent furnishings - Super clean - Central location, next to the city center - Decent bed - Well priced - Very decent breakfast selection

- Relatively minor, but the parking garage below the hotel was full when arriving on a Saturday around 18:45. So had to back up off the ramp and resort to (almost free) street parking. Which given the area (busy, bordering the center ring road, busy, inner city area) was not ideal. - Note that with the central location comes that it is adjacent to the ring road. During weekends it can get a bit noisy outside in the evenings if you have the windows open.
