The size and light in the apartment was great. It felt really spacious with everything you need. It has a lovely outdoor terrace and a good size kitchen and great bathroom. Everything felt new and clean. It was only a 20 walk to Lake Bled.
The area is behind the castle in a quieter area which is fine if you're happy to walk the 20 mins into town up a few hills. We didn't mind but it's worth keeping in mind.

Disappointed to only have 1 bath towel so often it was still damp from the previous shower
Also need a better pillow- the one provided was very thin
