Loved how central it was to the main township. It was so cozy and warm which was perfect as we were stuck in Lake Tekapo due to closed roads during the snow storms - so this was just what we needed. The bathroom was spacious, clean with a great shower, and the closet and washer and dryer were a huge bonus. Would stay here again 💯

The room was an absolute delight, easily the best in my trip around the South Island, they also left some fresh bread and condiments for arrival. Check in was really easy. The shower and kitchen facilities were also good.

Very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed the welcome gifts on arrival, including fresh bread and chocolates - such a nice touch! The outdoor bath was also really enjoyable. Great location, only a short 5 min walk to the main town area.

The outdoor bath tube is not at all in the condition as advertised. Also the bath tube is kind of private but the owners half of the house directly nearby and the privacy fence is not welcoming and unsightly. They suggest to park at the main car park which is a 10 minutes walk uphill. Great idea doing that with some luggage… After arriving we were clearly hearing the owners through the locked door which connects to the main house. They had some guests with them and we would have been easily possible to „join“ the conversation.
