Inspire Hotel

1. location is top, 30 seconds walk from a metro! Also, no problem with the area at all, very culturally diverse. 2. the sheets were very good, didn’t have any smell, and that is SO important. 3. the bathroom was not disgusting 4. the kitchen had a kettle for those who love to make tea. No coffee, though. 5. Great internet. Worked perfectly without any trouble. 6. Great ventilation system, so smells are quite tackled. 7. Working spaces in the basement are not chic, but one can work easily from there. Functional. 8. Having lockers is great. 9. Check in was easy. 10. The staff was helpful, but one guy was a bit rude for no reason when I asked him about the lockers in the storage room. 11. it is good that they have a storage room, albeit could be cleaner

1. the room gives to a busy road: it is full of cars that are loud and smelly. You can put earplugs, but the nose is still there. I had to open the window as some room-mates were smelly. 2. they do NOT recycle, looking into the rubbish bin with plastic and food mixed makes you lose all hope in humanity. This would be an easy fix though. Promote ECO! 3. the bunk beds are tiny, the rooms are tiny, the common space is this underground space with white light, so you don’t stay there because you want to. I am quite tall, and felt a bit caged. 4. they covers felt a bit used, mine had a cigarette hole in it, I also needed to ask for another one to stay warm. But no smell or anything weird. 5. they could have clear rules for the fridge. Some people aren't trained to be polite, and you see horrors in the fridge, like cut onion sitting and pesting there, or someone's unfinished food. Humanity at its worst. A solution is to have tupperware, and ask guests to strictly use it for storing food!!! 6. The storage room is surprisingly dirty. They should clean it, and also have more lockers, I was worries about my stuff as when I went there at 8 in the morning, all lockers had been already taken.

An ideal spot for a short sightseeing trip to Paris; excellent value for money; the hostel has been renovated, and it is clean and comfortable.
